Jim Dorney is a dynamic executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning international learning, technology, and business sectors. He is thrilled to join PulseLearning as VP, Global Learning Solutions. His top priorities include partnering with customers to further their mission and fulfill their adoption and enablement plans.

Jim began building a customer relationship with PulseLearning nearly 20 years ago. This relationship has always been driven by a mutual vision and collective short-, medium-, and long-term goals. Previously Jim served as Head of Manager & Leadership Development at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Services and Head of Global Curriculum at AWS Training and Certification. He also held various leadership roles, including VP, Global Education at CA Technologies.

Striking a balance between work life and personal life is paramount for Jim. He especially enjoys spending time with his family, Emily, Alexa, and Brayden, either sitting in the backyard or traveling on an adventure, particularly Caribbean cruises. Jim is an avid musician with a background in playing saxophone and clarinet, as well as instrumental conducting and musical directing. You can always find him attending a concert or show when time allows.
