Jim Breen is the founder of PulseLearning and serves in the role as Group Executive Chairman.  PulseLearning is a global leader in online learning solutions for over twenty years.  In 2012, Jim was invited to take part in The Secret Millionaire television program in Ireland and the UK.  This led to him starting a conversation on mental health and wellbeing issues on the island of Ireland and internationally.  Later that year, he founded Cycle Against Suicide, a charity focused on encouraging and promoting help-seeking behaviors.  This marked the start of his journey into understanding better how we can change beliefs and behaviors in relation to Mental Health and Wellbeing in the workplace and wider communities.  

Jim founded I Am Here in 2019.  Today, I Am Here, and its mantra ‘it’s ok not to feel ok; and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help’, has been introduced to over 850,000 people across six continents.  This has led directly to a threefold increase in the utilization of Mental Health and Wellbeing help and supports.  

Jim also established the internationally acclaimed Entrepreneur Experience in 2010 fueled by his passion for nurturing and mentoring emerging entrepreneurs and innovators.  He is a voluntary Director of CorkBIC, an Irish government funded organization supporting entrepreneurs in Ireland and beyond.  Jim is an advisor, mentor and coach to a variety of charities, businesses and people.

Whether conducting a business meeting or telling a story over lunch, his influence on all who come in contact with him has to be experienced to be believed. His energy, clarity of vision, and people skills help to keep employees, investors, and partners focused on exceeding expectations.

His own personal history is drenched in challenges.  From Ironman to ultra-marathons, international rowing championships and World Masters Rowing gold medals to winning the British and Irish Senior Intervarsity Boxing Championships, Jim does not retreat in the face of adversity.
